Count the bricks, one by one
Well, it's been a while. It makes more sense to use this as a graphic posting only, and keep in touch with the folks who I'd like to talk to. The TLR Club's trip out to Don Valley's Brickworks has been productive and will lead to more images - and DO check the video and images on our blog. Given how long these ones take to clean up or print (in analog real time), I shouldn't bother with the journal. If Flickr works better for the images, I'll just link it from here.

A Fire in the Gut Beats Your Straight Flush
SUPER SECRET IMAGE DECODER!!!
So, a while ago I started this thing, only to realize - just this last week - you
can blog, but you can't get other stuff done while you're doing it. Blogging is a
substitute for something else, potentially, so it's good to be moderate. I think.
I sure hope I've chopped the code right...
These are non-digital pix I've scanned and not used since. The originals are gone overseas. They're all related to Mail Art (that I often take too long to send). Think I still owe an extra copy of the last image, since the first one (already late for hallowe'en) never got to Australia (Sorry, Terry! - & Maxi, for that matter).
I blame Staten. Island, that is.

The Year of the (WE ARE EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, PLEASE STAND BY)
Well, best of the still shiny New Year to you all!
Random Radio in trash, Toronto East
Random Lead Typeface in drawer
Aw, heck - sorry for the delay - it's been part Eblogger overhauling their login setup (I think) and partially the holidays.
More soon, I swear on a cookbook.
What cookbook would you swear an oath on?
I'll be uploading
images in the main for the next week. Stay Tuned!

FYI, ABC has 411 on 911 & WTC
So finally, a building that's at the south end of the WTC site is slated for demolition (I noted it was boarded up, but at 41 stories thay ran out of plywodd quite a bit further down). It's the old Deutchebank AG tower, vacant since the towers fell. Here's the link, but be warned, the story gets creepy at the end.

For Giving you the Runs from Your Order, Taco Bell gets A "Cease and Desist" Order
TACO BELL - Is outsourcing to China in the works?
The state of New Jersey has asked Taco Bell "restaraunts" (quotes mine) to chuck their food as a further precaution to dealing with a massive E.Coli outbreak traced to Taco Bell's food supply. This is in addition to the upgraded cleaning regimane health officials have demanded in response to the public health hazard. If E.Coli wasn't so easily communicable to other people, this would create a whole new niche market for extreme sports dudes. But no, the state has to interfere with American's right to dangerous foods.
They already brow beat the 'Bell in NY State to abandon Trans fats a few years ago. Now the Steamroller heads downhill - yo, heads up! (And sorry for the long-ass link,
but the nice thing is, they don't ask for registration - yet)

Before I went to NYC, I made 4 disks of downloaded music - to add to the travel mix, and it made the time go by a bit faster. One of the genius works included now comes with video goodness (to reference FARK.com), and below is the Link. Go back to ApolloZero's Musicquarium site and find some more fun. The NEW YORK GROOVE THEORY Audio Mashup features Nina Hagen, BiG AuDiO DynaMite, KISS, Duran Duran, Billy Idol and a legion of others (and I think Giorgio Moroder produced "Funkytown", but youse kin correct me if youse knows otherwise) - well, so does the video. If you have the bandwidth, you can have the fun.
